Besides being a Consultant with Falcione Consulting Group, Mr. Emery is a Senior Strategic Management Consultant and President of Achieve LLC, a performance excellence consulting business in Northern Virginia. His work focuses on organizational performance system assessment and design, strategic planning consultation and facilitation, performance measurement development, business process improvement, decision engineering, and training development and evaluation. Ray is a leading expert in business process improvement design, implementation, and facilitation and has provided executive education for senior leaders of the United States Intelligence Community, Department of Energy, Japanese Self-Defense Air Force and Turkish Military Defense Forces. For the past 30 years, Ray has focused his efforts on improving the performance of Government organizations including the Community Management Staff of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Energy, the U.S. Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps, the National Reconnaissance Office, and the Central Intelligence Agency. Ray has also worked with a number of private organizations including, Sprint, Baxter Healthcare, Franklin Mint, and Fidelity Finance. Ray served on Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Board of Examiners in 2001 and has served as a Senior Examiner in 2002-2006. Ray served as a facilitator/trainer for the MBNQA Board of Examiners 2004-2007 and recently received a Secretary of Commerce appointment to the MBNQA Panel of Judges. Ray has also served as a lead examiner for the President’s Quality Award, the Sprint Chairman’s Quality Award and the Secretary of the Air Force (SecAF) Unit Quality Award and as a Judge for the Department of the Army Communities of Excellence Award. Ray is currently a National Judge for the American Society for Quality International Team Excellence Award and is a former Chairman award’s Oversight Committee. Ray has received worldwide recognition as a business process performance practitioner and facilitator. He has led or facilitated teams that have garnered five Air Force Team Excellence Awards and three Rochester Institute of Technology/USA Today Quality Cups. The Juran Institute features the accomplishments of the one of the teams he led in two of its management video series and more than 1000 copies of Ray’s “Stuck on Quality” video have been distributed across the US Department of Defense and to several allied nations. |
